Lord's Cricket Ground, England
Regarded as the 'Mecca' of cricket, Lord's has hosted five World Cup finals, the most famous being the 1983 and 1999 editions. In 1983, India shocked the cricketing world by defeating the mighty West Indies, and in 1999, Australia clinched its second World Cup title.

On 25 March 1992, the Melbourne Cricket Ground was the arena for the ICC Cricket World Cup final. Under Imran Khan's leadership, Pakistan triumphed over England by a margin of 22 runs, marking their inaugural World Cup trophy victory.
Eden Gardens, Kolkata, India
In the 1996 World Cup semi-final at Eden Gardens, Sri Lanka was awarded the match by default as crowd trouble erupted due to India's collapsing innings. The Indian team was at 120 for 8 in their run chase when the crowd began causing disruptions, leading to the match officials awarding the game to Sri Lanka, who then proceeded to the finals and won the 1996 Cricket World Cup.
The Oval, England
While not the location final, The Oval has hosted numerous crucial World Cup matches, with teams often clashing in memorable games. The Oval hosted the opening match of the 2019 World Cup between England and South Africa.
