Realme recently unveiled the latest in their Narzo 60 series, the Realme Narzo 60x. At its core, it’s the twin of the Realme 11 5G, launched in India just last month. This phone packs a punch with its MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset, a 120Hz display, a 50MP dual rear camera, and a hefty 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging capabilities. Let's dive into how the Realme Narzo 60x stands up in the smartphone arena.

Design and Display

Sporting a sleek silhouette, the Realme Narzo 60x carries a circular camera module on its back and features a punch-hole display upfront. You can pick from two vibrant colours: Nebula Purple and Stellar Green. These shades, combined with the Interstellar X design, truly sparkle like a starlit sky. Realme has stamped their Narzo branding on the bottom left corner of the back, and they've incorporated a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for quick access. They've also added a USB Type-C port for your charging needs. The 6.72-inch full-HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) LCD screen offers vivid colours and promises a buttery-smooth scrolling experience with its 120Hz refresh rate and 680 nits of peak brightness.

Performance and Software

The MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset powers the Realme Narzo 60x. This 6nm chipset delivers smooth performance and brings 5G connectivity to the table. Realme pairs it with up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM, which users can virtually expand to 12GB. Plus, with 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage space that you can expand with a microSD card, storage woes stay at bay. Out of the box, the phone runs the Android 13-based Realme UI 4.0, making interactions smooth and intuitive.

Realme equips the Narzo 60x with a dual rear camera: a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor for portrait shots. For selfie enthusiasts, an 8-megapixel front-facing camera gets the job done. The 5,000mAh battery not only lasts but also charges super fast, thanks to the 33W SuperVOOC technology. You can power up the phone from zero to 50% in just 29 minutes, as Realme claims.

Realme has smartly priced the Narzo 60x. You have two options: a 4GB RAM/128GB storage model priced at Rs.12,999 and a 6GB RAM/128GB storage model at Rs.14,499. Starting September 15, you can grab yours on Amazon or the Realme website. They’ve also slated a special live commerce sale for 12 PM IST on September 12.

The Realme Narzo 60x is an outstanding budget phone that doesn't compromise on features. It boasts a sleek design, vibrant display, powerful internals, solid camera setup, and a long-lasting battery that won't disappoint. Additionally, it supports 5G technology, making it a future-ready phone. This is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a reliable and affordable smartphone.
