India is slated to face Australia in the World Cup opener in Chennai on October 8, just days after their warm-up match against the Netherlands. The Dutch team will initiate their World Cup journey against Pakistan on October 6, followed by a match against New Zealand on October 9, both at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.
