The long-awaited Academy Awards event recently took place in Los Angles. This year, we Indians were particularly excited because of the hope that the Indian films were going to bag some awards at the ceremony. Everything Everywhere All At Once is an American sci-fi comedy film written. and directed by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert. The movie revolves around a Chinese-American immigrant and her encounter with a parallel universe. She must connect with the parallel universe to stop the destruction of the multiverse. The movie starred Michelle Yeoh, Stephanie Hsu, and others.

Brendan Fraser is a Canadian-American actor who made his debut in the movie "Dogfight (1991)". Brendan won the award for Best Actor for his role as Charlie in the movie "The Whale". The movie revolves around the life of an English teacher with morbid obesity who tries to work on his relationship with his teenage daughter. The movie is based on a 2012 play of the same name written by Samuel D. Hunter.

She won the award for Best Actress for her role as Evelyn Quan Wang in the movie "Everything Everywhere All At Once". Evelyn is a discontented and overwhelmed laundromat owner who came to the USA a couple of decades ago. The movie revolves around her life and her fight to save the multiverse.

Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, also known as "Daniels," are a filmmaking duo best known for their unique and visually stunning music videos and films. They have directed music videos for artists such as The Shins, Foster the People, and Everything Everywhere All At Once, and their debut feature film "Swiss Army Man" starring Paul Dano and Daniel Radcliffe was a critical success at the Sundance Film Festival in 2016. They began working on this project in 2010. It took them nearly 12 years to bring this project to the screen.
