Indian 2
Following the success of Kalki 2898 AD, Kamal Haasan returns in Indian 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the 1996 hit Indian. Kamal will once again portray Veerasekaran Senapathy, a character who previously battled corruption and will now be seen saving society. Directed by S Shankar, Indian 2 is set to release globally on July 12 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The film also stars Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, and Kajal Aggarwal, with music by Anirudh Ravichander, and is produced by Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies.
Sarfira
The trailer for Sarfira, featuring Akshay Kumar, has already stirred excitement. Directed by Sudha Kongara, this film is a remake of Soorarai Pottru. It promises a gripping narrative centred on India’s startup culture and aviation industry, showcasing the protagonist’s journey from debt to entrepreneurial success. Suriya makes a guest appearance, and the film also stars Radhika Madan, Paresh Rawal, and Seema Biswas. Sarfira is scheduled for release on July 12.
Bad Newz
Bad Newz, a romantic comedy-drama starring Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk, is set to release on July 19. Directed by Anand Tiwari, this film, previously known as Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam, marks the first collaboration between its lead actors. Neha Dhupia also stars in this movie, which is inspired by true events involving heteropaternal superfecundation, a rare reproductive phenomenon.
Deadpool and Wolverine
Set for release on July 26, Deadpool and Wolverine stars Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds.
